Workshop on Digitalization at Porsche Werkzeugbau

Digitalization is a topic intensely discussed in large parts of the service sector and industry, and should lead to more efficient processes, improved products, better integration with customers and partners and – in many cases – new business models. Porsche Werkzeugbau from Schwarzenberg in the Erzgebirge region is working on a number of digitalization projects and organized a digitalization workshop in this context. The aim was the exchange of practical and methodical experiences in order to explore possibilities for cooperation between the business information systems group in Rostock and Porsche. Participants from Rostock were Michael Fellmann and Kurt Sandkuhl. As a result, an additional workshop in November is planned.
