Curriculum Vitae

Benjamin Nast, born in 1996, completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in business informatics at the University of Rostock. He wrote his bachelor's thesis on "Efficient shortage management as a contribution to digitalisation in the housing industry" in cooperation with the WIRO. A prototype for IT-supported shortage management was developed and evaluated. During his master's thesis, Benjamin worked on the architecture and prototypical realisation of Internet-of-Things applications. As part of this work, a metamodel for IoT applications for ventilation and air conditioning systems was developed.

From 2019 to 2020, Benjamin already worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics in the area of digitalisation in the housing industry. Since November 2021, he has been a research assistant and is supporting the development of an AI for energy optimisation as part of the KIDIRA project. The current research focus is the model-driven development of IoT platforms.
