240.000 € awarded for a Research Infrastructure for Process-Oriented Architectures

The German basic research foundation DFG decided to grant 240.000 € for a Research Infrastructure for Process-Oriented Architectures at Rostock University. The funding application was jointly submitted by four chairs of the institute of computer science (Professors Forbrig, Mühl, Sandkuhl and Wolf). Process-oriented architectures are expected to radically shorten the path from defining business processes in enterprises to IT-solutions supporting these processes.
