On April 4, the Day of Artificial Intelligence took place at the University Medical Center Rostock (UMR), jointly organised by the UMR and the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (IEF). Minister Bettina Martin, the Rector of the University of Rostock, Prof Dr Elizabeth Prommer, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof Dr Emil Reisinger opened the event. Over 200 participants from the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ministries, research institutions, companies, public institutions, the UMR and various faculties of the University of Rostock demonstrated great interest in this topic. Among them were several members of the state parliament (Julian Barlen, Katy Hoffmeister, Dirk Stamer). Dr Anne Gutschmidt from the Chair of Business Information Systems moderated a large part of the event.
