ECIS Workshop „SenSy“ in Istanbul

In June 2016, the 24th European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS 2016) takes place in Istanbul. In a joint effort, Assistant Prof. Fellmann and Prof. Sandkuhl, both from Rostock University, in conjunction with Prof. Smirnov from the St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation organize a workshop on „Sensing Enterprise Systems“ (SenSy) held at this conference. Subject of the Workshops is the challenge to leverage new sensors (e.g. for body or machine conditions), networks (e.g. Internet of Thins, IoT) and data processing capabilities (e.g. Big Data Analytics) in such a way that enterprises become more responsive to changes in their environment and robust regarding threats.
