EMISA 2018

From May 24-25th 2018, the 9th international workshop EMISA will take place in Rostock. The Workshop on "Enterprise Modeling and Information Systems Architectures" is traditionally hosted by the Section "Development Methods for Information Systems and their Application" (EMISA) of the German Society for Computer Science. This year, Prof. Sandkuhl and Jun. Prof. Fellmann organize a full 2-day scientific program in Rostock. As in previous years, the program will include contributions in the categories "Novel Research Direction", "PhD Proposal" and "Current Research". Presentations in the first two categories serve to discuss future research topics and doctoral theses. Contributions of the latter category represent work that has already been presented at established conferences and that will be re-presented for discussion by the community. In addition to these contributions, there will again be two interesting keynotes by renowned researchers. Prof. Matthias Weske from the Hasso Plattner Institute / University of Potsdam will present his topic "Rethinking BPM Concepts for Cases and Decisions". Another keynote will be held by Janis Stirna, University of Stockholm. The program will be complemented by an attractive social event.
