On July 3, 2019, Florian Bär Barat defended his PhD dissertation at Rostock University. Topic of the work was “Designing Services enabling Internal Customers to produce Service Outcomes on their own – An Analysis from the IT Operations Perspective”. Supervisors of the PhD thesis were Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl and Prof. Michael Leyer. The result of the defense was a recommendation to the university to award the PhD degree “Dr. rer. pol.”.
