Expert hearings were held in October as part of the deliberations on the double budget 2024/2025 for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Kurt Sandkuhl was one of the experts in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics who was asked to provide a written statement on various issues relating to KI MV.
In October 2022, the Committee on Science, Culture, Federal Affairs and EU Affairs held a hearing in the plenary chamber of the state parliament. The 2022 hearing also focussed on the topic of artificial intelligence and its significance for the state. Prof Thomas Kirste, Prof Roger Labahn and Prof Kurt Sandkuhl from the University of Rostock were invited as experts.
