Further progress in the project ECLORA

During the past weeks the chair of business informatics successfully conducted three workshops in cooperation with its partner SIV.AG in the frame of the ECLORA Project. Therefore, the ECLORA team was invited to the public utilities of Rostock, Cottbus and Wolfsburg in order to collect data of their respective enterprise architecture. In this respect the focus was set on the analysis of the several architecture layers (e.g. business architecture) and four business processes. This for instance revealed interrelationships between business functions and supporting information systems. On this basis it is now possible to derive a next version of the reference architecture for utilities. The chair of business informatics thanks all parties involved for the cooperation and also looks forward to new partners in this respect. The ECLORA team will conduct the next workshop at the public utility of Schwerin.
