Honoured as a Fellow of Reutlingen University

Kurt Sandkuhl has been a Fellow of Reutlingen University since 2020. This honour has now been renewed. By awarding a Fellowship, the Faculty of Computer Science at Reutlingen University honours individuals who have made outstanding achievements in their work for or with Reutlingen University. In the explanatory statement, the university says that the award is in recognition of ‘outstanding co-operative research achievements’. 

Kurt Sandkuhl has been working with Reutlingen University since 2013 in the fields of enterprise architecture management, digital transformation and, in particular, digital enterprise architectures. A cooperation agreement was concluded between Reutlingen University and the University of Rostock for the cooperative supervision of PhD students. A large number of joint publications have also been produced and joint workshops have been organised at academic conferences. The cooperation was established together with Prof Alfred Zimmermann, who retired in 2024. Currently, the collaboration is primarily with Prof Michael Möhring and Prof Dieter Hertweck.
