On November 18-19, the workshop "Conceptualize IT" took place at the Konrad-Zuse-Haus. Conceptual models and the automatic generation of executable systems from such models were in focus. The workshop was organized by Fabienne Lambusch and Michael Fellmann from the Rostock business information systems group together with partners from Sweden. Håkan Enquist from the University of Gothenburg and Tomas Jonsson from Genicore AB shared their many years of experience in the development of model-driven information systems in several sessions over two days. In hands-on sessions the participants had the opportunity to put the gained knowledge into practice by using the CoreWEB tool to generate small systems from their own models.
