The artificial intelligence (AI) working group of the Ministry of Finance of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern initiates and coordinates the use AI and also serves to exchange experience and information. On 2 April, the AI working group met in the Konrad-Zuse-Building to learn about ongoing innovation projects from the University of Rostock's computer science department. The agenda of the meeting with a total of 18 participants included the use of large language models to identify causal relationships in medicine, the detection of anomalies in the operation of ventilation and air conditioning systems, the visualization of complex relationships in data analysis, and the generation of process and enterprise models from textual descriptions using AI. Due to the many common areas of interest, it was agreed that further meetings of this kind should be planned.
