At an event organized by the DGB Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Confederation of German Trade Unions) for works councils, the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) was on the agenda. An article in the daily newspaper Neubrandenburger Zeitung announced the event with the title "When artificial intelligence takes over your job". In addition to Dr. Hessler from DGB Hamburg, Kurt Sandkuhl was invited to give a presentation on the topic of AI, which also highlighted changes for employees and employment in companies. An interesting discussion developed with the approximately 25 participants on the question of whether AI is a threat or an opportunity for employment relationships and what social impact this could have. Kurt Sandkuhl's presentation took place as part of the Zukunftszentrum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on 27.10.2022 in Neubrandenburg.
