Kick-off for International SAP case study

Students from Riga Technical University and Rostock University participate in a joint case study demonstrating a distributed procurement process. The intention of the case is to show how internationally active enterprises perform their business processes using enterprise software. The student group participating consists of in total 76 students from three different Master programs. The technical platform used is the SAP ERP system. The SAP teaching material had to be extended for this purpose in order to accommodate new roles. Prof. Sandkuhl and Prof. Grabis, the responsible persons in Rostock and Riga, plan to extend the case study during 2014 by involving an additional non-EU partner: Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia). The case study is supported by German Ministry for Education and Research as part of the program „Studium Optimum“.
