Cooperation with the University of Jönköping, Sweden

Since 2010, there has been cooperation between the School of Engineering at Jönköping University in Sweden and the University of Rostock. Specifically, Prof. Ulf Seigerroth (Jönköping) and Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl (Rostock) both work in the field of business information systems and in the subject area of enterprise modelling and architectures, which forms the framework for joint research projects and publications. During a visit to Jönköping at the beginning of February 2023, the focal points of the cooperation for this year were discussed. In addition to continuing the work on quantified products and the joint supervision of a PhD student in Jönköping in the field of modularisation of smart connected products, the student exchange, which was interrupted during the Covid-19 pandemic, is also to be resumed. Both universities have two places each per semester to offer for the exchange through the EU's Erasmus+ programme.
