On July 31, 2026, Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Wolfgang Blank presented a new AI funding program for the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (MV). The program is intended to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the implementation of artificial intelligence. The guidelines were presented during an online event attended not only by the Minister but also by representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Chambers of Crafts. The Center for Artificial Intelligence in MV (KI MV) was introduced at the event by Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl. KI MV offers to support interested companies in the context of AI usage.
