On September 26, Magnus Jandinger will defend his PhD thesis at Linköping University in Sweden. Magnus’ main supervisor is Prof. Kurt Sandkuhl from Rostock University. In the Swedish university system, there is a tradition of nailing the PhD document to the wall at a public place. This is a symbol that the PhD work is finished and everybody may read it. The pictures show how Prof. Sture Hägglund, Magnus’ co-supervisor, nails the dissertation to the wall on behalf of Magnus.
