Programme for the technology evening "Work 4.0" on 26 March on

The planning for the Technology Evening in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce has progressed and the programme has been finalised. The theme evening, which will take place on 26 March from 17.00-19.00 in the physics department, will deal with the changes in the world of work, which have been discussed for some time under terms such as "Work 4.0", "Good Work" or "New Work". With various contributions, the theme evening aims to accompany this change and provide valuable suggestions. After the welcome by representatives of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the University of Rostock, a first contribution on current trends and research topics will be made by Professors Sandkuhl, Kirste and Fellmann. Afterwards, Vote2Work, a tool for employee-centered personnel resource planning, will be presented by Ms. Pape, managing director of the company of the same name. Furthermore, Ulf Klammer, Managing Director of Datagroup in Rostock, will introduce the current topic of "Robotic Process Automation" (RPA) with a practical example. Finally, visual assistance solutions for a modern working environment will be presented by Dr. Aehnelt from the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD) in Rostock. Finally, Axel Fick from "mv-works" Kompetenzzentrum Arbeit 4.0 in M-V will contribute to the challenges of the modern working world. The evening will be rounded off with a discussion and snack as well as a poster presentation.
