The contract for one more year in the COFIN project was signed. Compliance has been a hot topic in financial industries since many years. As a contribution to achieving flexible and sustainable IT-support for compliance, COFIN aims at development of a reference model for the compliance organization in financial industries. The prolongation of COFIN will focus on fraud and market compliance. COFIN is financed with funds of BITKOM working group „Regulatory Banking Compliance“ which is part of the chapter „Banking & Financial Services“. Project coordinator is Quadriga-Institut für Regulation und Management (QIRM). The Chair Business Information System is a sub-contractor of QIRM and focusing on the enterprise architecture aspects.
