From June 28 to July 1, 2026, the 17th International Baltic Conference on Digital Business and Intelligent Systems (Baltic DB&IS 2026) took place in Tartu, Estonia. The Business Information Systems team was represented with a presentation as part of the conference forum.
On June 30, Leon Griesch, a research assistant at the department, presented the paper „Stakeholder Participation in AIaaS Introduction: An Interview Study on Expectations" (Huong Luong, Leon Griesch, Kurt Sandkuhl) during a poster session. The study examines the expectations that employees and managers have regarding their involvement in the introduction of AI-as-a-Service solutions in organizations.
The conference was well attended and brought together representatives of the research community from Estonia, Latvia, Austria, France, and many other countries—with a lively professional exchange on digital business models and intelligent systems.
The paper is published as open access in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings (Vol-4211).
