At the Hanover Industrial Fair 2017, Schindler AG - a global player in elevator and escalator technology and services - and the chair Business Information Systems of Rostock University - experienced in digital business models - present innovative digital services for people and business using elevators. Rostock University developed an interactive prototype of the Schindler Doorshow which is part of the Schindler Ahead platform. The objective is a digital solution that benefits customers, facility managers and passengers. Schindler Ahead will allow for a better and more flexible management of elevators and escalators and serve as platform for the development of new smart products and services.
