What opportunities do dataspaces offer for companies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (MV)? Which dataspace applications do already exist and can serve as best practices? And what technological foundations and organisational possibilities does GAIA-X offer in this context?
These were some of the questions discussed on 19 March at the exploratory workshop on dataspaces as part of MV's regional innovation strategy. The event also included a presentation by Kurt Sandkuhl on the topic of business models for dataspaces. The event, organised by Fraunhofer IGD, was supported by the Marispace-X project, which is developing a maritime dataspace with corresponding services based on the GAIA-X infrastructure.
