Start of procedure for PhD graduation of Jens Brüning

After the hand-over of his work "Metamodellbasierte und hierarchieorientierte Workflowmodellierung", the PhD graduation procedure has started for Jens Brüning (a member of our group). His work presents new metamodel-based approaches for workflow and business process modeling. Two different ways for business process modeling are followed with a declarative and a hierarchical one that are not common nowadays. The main advantage for the declarative language lies in a better flexibility and the hierarchical approach promises structured models that are better to be understood. The date of the defense will be announced.
