ZuGPM Workshop at INFORMATIK in Klagenfurt was a success

In September 2016, the 46th annual meeting of the German Society for Informatics (GI) took place. Prof. Michael Fellmann from the Information Systems Group of the Rostock University organized in conjunction with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (PD Dr. Agnes Koschmider, Andreas Schoknecht) and the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (Prof. Laue) a workshop at this event. The workshop attracted many participants. It addressed the current state of the art, challenges and new research needs in the field of Business Process Management. Presentations encompassed a wide spectrum from process detection in smart home settings (Keynote by Judith Michael), process improvement via text mining, matching of imperative and declarative process models, inductive reference modeling to supporting process execution via smart glasses.
