Marcus Triller, born in Rostock in 1988, completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in industrial engineering at the University of Rostock. He wrote his Bachelor's thesis on the topic of "internal material flow analysis for process optimisation" together with the company TRW (ZF) in Laage. He also wrote his Master's thesis in cooperation with a company. He dealt with the "Analysis of internal energy processes for the conceptual design of an energy management system using the example of a logistics service provider", that of DB Schenker MV.

From 2019 to 2021, Marcus worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Logistics and Production Organisation with a focus on teaching and data analysis. Furthermore, Marcus already worked from July to October 2021 as a student assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics with Prof. Michael Fellmann in the project "PANIWO".

Since November 2021, Marcus has also been a research assistant at the Chair of Business Informatics and can continue and intensify his research activities in the "PANIWO" project.
