Florian studied computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Aalen and received the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree in 2011. Afterwards he worked as a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Aalen in IT service management and Green IT. In October 2011 Florian began to study business administration with a focus on finance and accounting at the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm. He finished his studies in 2014 and received the Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree. During his studies, Florian worked as an intern at SDZeCOM and Fritz & Macziol (renamed to Axians IT Solutions) in software engineering. During the period of June 2014 to May 2017 Florian worked as a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Munich in IT service management, workflow management, and graph theory. Since September 2015 Florian has been a Ph. D. student at the University of Rostock under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kurt Sandkuhl. At the University of Rostock, he was also supervised by Prof. Dr. Michael Leyer. Since June 2017 Florian has been a Technical Consultant and DevOps Engineer at NTT Data. At NTT Data he deals with Continuous Integration and Deployment approaches and cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
