From December 17 to December 18, 2025, the kick-off meeting for the EDWANCE project took place at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (TH OWL) in Lemgo. Participants included Prof. Michael Fellmann and Erik Endlicher from the University of Rostock (Chair of Business Informatics), Prof. Holger Muehlan and Maike Judis from the University of Greifswald, and Prof. Carsten Röcker, Hitesh Dhiman, and Eileen Wemmer from TH OWL.

The aim of the project is to develop assistance systems that are in line with the principles of eudaimonic well-being and thus promote long-term mental health and enjoyment at and in the workplace. The focus is specifically on the areas of knowledge work and manual labor.

A highlight was the visit to Smart Factory OWL, where the latest technologies related to the digital industry and production are being developed. It will also be used in the EDWANCE project.
