New Research Project on Compliance in Financial Industries

Compliance has been a hot topic in financial industries since many years. As a contribution to achieving flexible and sustainable IT-support for compliance, the recently launched project COFIN aims at development of a reference model for the compliance organization in financial industries. COFIN is financed with funds of BITKOM working group „Regulatory Banking Compliance“ which is part of the chapter „Banking & Financial Services“. Project coordinator is Quadriga-Institut für Regulation und Management (QIRM). The Chair Business Information System is a sub-contractor of QIRM and focusing on the enterprise architecture aspects.
