Nikola Ivanovic was born in 1995 and began his Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics at the University of Rostock in 2016. In his Bachelor's thesis, he focused on the development of a reference model for the energy, water, and gas industries.

After successfully completing his Bachelor of Science, Nikola Ivanovic continued his studies at the University of Rostock in a Double-Degree program. As part of this program, he spent one semester at ITMO University in St. Petersburg (Russia) and completed his Master's thesis in 2022 at the University of Rostock, titled “The Impact of Digitalization on Enterprise Architectures in SMEs”.

Since 2022, Nikola Ivanovic has been working as a research associate at the Chair of Business Informatics at the University of Rostock. His current research focuses on the development of AI-based building blocks for HVAC systems, with a particular emphasis on reusability, transparency, and explainability of these building blocks.
