I studied Industrial Design at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Dipl.-Des.) and Usability Engineering (M.Sc.) at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Currently, I work at the Fraunhofer Institute of Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation (IOSB) in Karlsruhe in the department of Interactive Analysis and Diagnosis (IAD). In my work, I focus on human-centered and participatory design of Decision Support Systems (DSS) for medical and clinical use cases.  My research focus is interdisciplinary design research and practice with high application relevance. My methodological specialisation is Participatory Design (PD).
